Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ashcroft Trading Academy website and your enrollment in any of our programs. By using this site, submitting an application, or purchasing a program, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the site or enroll — no hard feelings.

Ashcroft Trading Academy provides educational services about trading methodology:

• The Ashcroft Method — a self-paced video course of eight modules and 48 lessons, with journal templates, backtesting protocols, and lifetime access including updates.
• The Signals Desk — a monthly membership with daily pre-market plans, annotated trade ideas, a public log of every call, and live Q&A sessions.
• The Inner Circle — a quarterly mentorship cohort of twelve seats with weekly live sessions, monthly 1:1 journal reviews, and direct access to the desk.

Everything above is education. Marcus Ashcroft is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing provided by the academy — including published trade ideas — is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. This is consistent with the disclaimers throughout this site, and it is the foundation these terms rest on.

Current pricing at the time of these terms:

• The Ashcroft Method — $899, a one-time payment for lifetime access.
• The Signals Desk — $79 per month, billed monthly, cancel any month with no lock-in.
• The Inner Circle — $2,400 per quarter, by application only, limited to twelve seats per cohort.

Prices may change for future enrollments, but a price change never affects what you’ve already purchased. Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor; we don’t see or store your full card details. Inner Circle applications are reviewed within 48 hours, and submitting an application is not a purchase and creates no obligation on either side.

• The Ashcroft Method — a 14-day full refund guarantee from the date of purchase, no questions required. Email the desk within 14 days and the full course fee is returned.
• The Signals Desk — cancel any month with no lock-in. Cancellation stops future billing; we don’t issue refunds for partial months already billed.
• The Inner Circle — because each cohort is bespoke, capacity-limited to twelve seats, and a seat you hold is a seat someone else was declined, refunds and cancellations are handled at the academy’s discretion, case by case. Talk to us before the cohort starts and we’ll be reasonable.

The Method’s refund guarantee is a refund of the course fee. It is not insurance against trading losses.

Enrolling in any Ashcroft program does not guarantee trading profits or any particular outcome. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, including loss of principal, and past performance — ours or anyone’s — is not indicative of future results. Performance figures on this site are the instructor’s historical personal results, are not typical, and promise nothing about yours. Program access is for you, personally. You agree not to:

• Redistribute, share, resell, or republish course materials, videos, templates, or Signals Desk content — including sharing login credentials or reposting desk plans outside the community.
• Present academy content as your own, or use it to build a competing course or signal service.
• Disrupt the community — harassment, spam, soliciting members, or publishing trade "signals" to other members (only the desk publishes ideas, and every one is logged).

Violations can result in termination of access without refund. We enforce these rules because paying students fund the work — and because the community only stays useful if it stays clean.

All academy content — the curriculum, videos, lesson materials, journal and backtesting templates, the three-setup playbook, desk plans, branding, and this website — is owned by Ashcroft Trading Academy and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials for your own education. It does not transfer ownership of anything. Your own trading journal and your own trades are, of course, entirely yours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashcroft Trading Academy and Marcus Ashcroft are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, the programs, or any content we publish — including trade ideas you chose to act on.

Our total liability for any claim related to a program is limited to the amount you paid us for that program. Every trading decision you make is yours alone, made with your capital and at your risk.

You can stop using the site at any time, and Signals Desk members can cancel any month. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms — most commonly the acceptable-use rules — and in the case of material violations (such as redistributing course content), without refund.

If we terminate your access for any reason other than a violation of these terms, we’ll refund the unused portion of anything you’ve paid.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the academy will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. For material changes — anything affecting pricing you’ve already paid, refunds, or your rights — we’ll notify active students and members by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the programs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
